The Village of Farmersville is currently hiring for the full-time position of Village Administrator. The Village Administrator is an administrative and management level position. This person manages the employees and departments of the Village of Farmersville.

 

The Village Administrator is responsible for the day to day operations of the Village of Farmersville. He or she acts as the liaison between the legislative body and the Fiscal Officer and such other duties as the Village Council and Mayor may require. Other duties for this position shall be in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and the Village’s Table of Organization.

 

The preferred applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in business management, public administration, political science or a closely related field, and five (5) years experience in working in the public sector and supervisory responsibilities; or any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience, with additional work experience substituting for the required education on a year for year basis.

 

The preferred applicant will have a valid state driver’s license and CDL, or the ability to obtain one. Income range is $32,000 – $68,640 based on experience and qualifications.  Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, retirement, sick leave, and vacation.
