The Village water tower rehab project will begin on March 16 and is expected to be completed in 35-40 days. This maintenance project was budgeted and planned for 2021 and is necessary to keep our water system effective and clean. This project will require Village personnel to take the water tower out of service and drain it. While it is drained, we have hired a contractor to paint the exterior and interior of tower. The Village will continue to supply water to residents, businesses, and schools during the project. The water will be safe to consume and use as your normally do. You may experience some discoloration of water and reduced pressure.

Farmersville requests that residents and businesses please be courteous and do your best to conserve water while the work is being completed. We ask that you please bare with us; this is the first time our water tower has been taken offline since it was built. We will keep you informed with any updates.

In addition, the bulk water station located at the water plant will be out of service through the duration of this project.

If you should have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Village office.
